The Artists

Mike Wolos
Mr. Wolos was born and raised in Kiel, in the northern part of Germany. Since childhood, he was always very good at making things with his hands, so naturally as a young man he started as an apprentice furniture maker in his uncle’s furniture and millwork Company. Mikes uncle being a perfectionist was very strict with him. Although Mike did not appreciate it at that time, he now treasures the vast amount of knowledge his uncle past on to him. After graduating with excellent grades he continued to work as furniture maker. In 1986 Mike immigrated to Canada where he gained additional experience by working as a cabinet maker and finishing carpenter. Recently Mike started his own business designing and making custom furniture, specialising in high end coffee tables and wine cabinets.
