Iryna Kharina

Kharina Iryna is a Ukrainian born artist who currently lives and works in Burnaby. She is an artist in the third generation. Her art career has begun with attempts to embody imagination of the three-year old child and later became the main career’s path of her life. Iryna graduated University of Dnepropetrovsk with art degree. The landscape and still-life in oil are the basic genres of Iryna’s paintings. In 2004 the first personal art show in oil took place in Dnepropetrovsk. After moving to Canada in January 2009 she continues to create her paintings. The beauty of the nature of British Columbia has inspired Irina and it reflects in her art. Iryna recently became a member of Burnaby Artist Guild and took a part in the fall show with her acrylic and oil paintings were Iryna has been chosen as a one of the favourite artist of show. Irina's artworks are in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, England and Chile.
