Call for Entry


The Aurora Gallery Co-op is calling for artists to submit artworks with the theme "The Four Seasons" to be shown in its Tinsel Town location with 1,800 sq. ft. gallery. All media except photography are welcome. Work should not be larger than 4 ft.

Entries can be made by electronic entry or by original artwork entry.

Electronic entry: E-mail your artworks' JPEG images as attachments (recommended 400 pixels ) to eileen.fong@yahoo.com before August 21. Images are to be labeled with titles of paintings. Send cheque and entry form by mail to: Eileen Fong, 6635 St. Charles Place, Burnaby, B.C. (Must be received by August 21)

Original artwork entry: Deliver to the Aurora Gallery, Suite 2035, second floor, Tinsel Town/International Village, 88 West Pender Street, Vancouver, on August 20 or 21 between 2 pm to 5 pm. See this page on how to get to the gallery. The best entrance is from Keefer and Abbott.

A maximum of 6 entries per artist.

Entry fee: $5.00 per entry for non-members.

Selected paintings will be displayed for the month of September. All entries must be available for sale and must not infringe on any copyright. Commission for non-members is 35%. Unsold paintings are to be picked up on Friday, September 30 between 4 pm to 5:30 pm, or on Saturday Oct 1 between 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Only liability insurance will be covered. You are responsible for other types of insurance.
